Hat Info The Richardson 213 is their low profile version of the 113 foam trucker hat. If you like the idea of a retro looking foam cap with rope accent between the visor and crown, but you aren't looking for a tall crown, this hat should be your pick.

I think "low-profile" might be a little misleading because some people think they're for women or kids, but that's not the case. The crown simply slopes back rather than straight up like most of the newer trucker caps. Basically, the fit ends up being more like a traditional baseball cap which many people prefer. ////

The Richardson 213 was a hat that I didn't have high hopes for. The rope accent seemed too large, and a "low-profile" hat didn't sound like a great idea since I'm looking for hats that can accomodate some pretty large patches.

To my surprise, the 213 fit the contours of my head perfectly and the 5 panel construction meant that the front panel of the hat was still plenty large for everything but the biggest patches. It's probably the most comfortable hat we carry and that's saying a lot. To sum it up, don't sleep on the 213.
