Hat Info According to Yupoong, the YP Classics 6005 was inspired by city billboards so it's no surprise that these hats are built to highlight the patch you choose. It's essentially a carbon copy of the Richardson 113 that we also carry, but we wanted to give YP fans their own option.

The foam front has a high-profile pinch front crown and a 5 panel design which makes it well suited for our larger patches. The premium mesh backing also provides a cooling effect, perfect for all-day wearing.

Our Opinion

Nothing beats the YP 6005 and Richardson 113 if you're looking for the best showcase for your patch. The hats are great, but they fade into the background once a bright, vintage patch is applied.

If you're choosing between the Richardson 113 and YP 6005, I'll say that I see the 6005 as being the more modern looking hat, perfect for streetwear fashion. The 6005 doesn't have the throwback rope accent piece separating the visor from the crown, and the visor is pretty adament about staying flat unlike the 113's visor which is perfectly happy keeping a curve. If you want a modern foam trucker hat with a flat bill, this should be your model.
