The first iteration of the logo, a two-stripe design, was introduced in 1933. The two stripes nodded to the Dodge Brothers, John and Horace, whose work creating engines for Ford and Oldsmobile helped them amass a fortune that they put towards their venture as automobile manufacturers. The logo has changed over the years but continues to feature the iconic two stripes as a symbol of the longstanding legacy of the Dodge brand.
